New Visitor Centre

The new Visitor Cente opened in October 2014 and is proving to be an extremely popular venue. Enjoy birdwatching from the decking or from inside through the panoramic windows overlooking the park.

Many thousands of customers have already visited the new Centre since its opening and the feedback has been amazing! Fresh teas and coffee's and the great variety of biscuits and confectionary are proving very popular as are ice creams. What better way to spend some time than to sit on one of the Bird Parks balconies overlooking the Reindeer, watching the Parks birds as well as the wild birds including Pied Wagtails and Woodpeckers.

Even the new toilets and baby change facilities have attracted many nice comments!

Come and visit us soon, there are no entrance fees to the buildings or balconies and there is a super selection of gifts to choose from.

Supported by Defra

The new Visitor Centre that opened in October 2014 was supported by Defra!  The oak constructed building design is based on the National Trust theme and it nestles beautifully into its Cotswold environment.  It was designed to be of low impact on the environment and the landscape.

The build project was supported by the Rural Development Programme for England, for which Defra is the Managing Authority, part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas.
